  • Hot compacting of Oxides, Nitrides, Borides, Carbides, and Sulfides and Mixtures thereof to near theoretical Densities
  • Sintering
Generally, a basic system includes the following components:
  • Chamber Assembly
  • Heat Zone Assembly
  • Power Supply Package
  • Control Instrumentation and Cabinet
  • Press Frame
  • Hydraulic System
  • Evacuation or High Vacuum Pumping System
  • Inert/Nitrogen Gas System
Other Hot Press models are available within the following parameters:
  • Force: 5, 10, 15, 25, 50 or 100 Tons
  • Hot Zone Sizes: To accept Die diameters of 1" to 14" and lengths to 20"
  • Heating Elements: Molybdenum, Tungsten Mesh, High Purity Graphite or Tantalum; all with appropriate Heat Shield Insulation
  • Temperature: 500C to 2500C
  • Atmospheres: Gas at 2 PSIG to 2500C, Rough or High Vacuum, 10 ^-2 Torr to 10^-6 Torr levels to 2300C
